Do you strive to live the life you always dreamed of?

Do you like to see your name in bright lights or in print?

Do you surround yourself with everything that brings you pleasure?

Do you find significance in your profession or the profession of your spouse?

Do you determine the longevity of a relationship to be relevant?

Do you see your association’s successes important to your well being?

Do you see your skills and talents as your source of provision?

Do you look for the difference in each day?

Do you look for problems to solve or ways to celebrate accomplishments?

Do you find purpose in what you do or say?

Do you seek to be rewarded or do you seek to reward?

Do you forgive and forget offenses or remember the offense and retaliate?

Do you measure life in who you know or in what you have?

Do you believe in love?

Do you know what it means to just be?

God says “for everyone that asks receives, and he that seeks shall find…” (Matthew 7:8) Questions unlock the answers I want to receive.  The only answer I will not get is to the question I have not asked.

I have been asking questions to determine what it means to be me.  I know what it means to be someone’s daughter, or sister, or wife or mother or employee or employer. I am interested in knowing how I have been defining myself.  

Can I be happy being “me”?
