Luke 18:16

 

    Who or what can compare to the wonder of a God who cares?

 

     I often feel like a spectator of life.  I am one of those who can sit and watch the interaction of others just so I can understand more about my God.  

 

     My advantage point of seeing without speaking enables me to hear the thoughts of others.  Remember God said out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.  I want to know about the world around me.   I believe we live in perilous times.  Not everything is as it first appears.  Jesus said the truth will set you free.  To me that freedom includes knowing what I need to do next to protect my world or my focus.

 

     I am often grieved by what I see, so I have to take time to listen to see if what I hear lines up with what I have seen.  Disillusionment is a slow painful death, with generational consequences.  I do not want to be another Eve in my garden of life.  

 

     People want reality.  I want truth.  Hollywood has sensationalized our world.  Stimulating our senses will often result in the truth being distorted for our own personal gratification,  entertainment, or promotion.

 

     I am tired of crying over the unfulfilled expectations I received from another.  I am tired of hearing what another expects of me. After undergoing 37 hours of my labor of love, I have produced an understanding of which none can compare.

 

     My comfort remains in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  His love is more that a feeling, it is a knowing… 

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  (Romans 8:18)
